Theodore E. Ditzenberger

Theodore E. Ditzenberger, 74, of Franklin, passed away the morning of Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at UPMC Northwest. 

The son of Robert W. and Frances I. Phillips Ditzenberger, Theodore was born on September 18, 1949 in Franklin. 

After attending Franklin High School, Theodore worked on the railroad for 15 years. He also worked as a gifted self-employed carpenter for most of his life. 

Theodore was married to his late wife, the former Nancy Lee Ritchey, in 1968. 

He was an avid fisher, golfer, and an active member of the Eagles Club. Theodore was a life-long baseball fan and a dedicated Steelers fan. 

Surviving Theodore are his four children; Eric Ditzenberger of Franklin, Tina Velasquez Ditzenberger and her husband Darryl Brayman of Lorton, VA, Billy Jo and Kenny Beckwith of Rose Pines, LA, and Michael Ditzenberger of Franklin. Three siblings; Cindy Hutchinson, Rebecca Davis, and Richard Ditzenberger. Also left to remember Theodore are five grandchildren and numerous loved nieces and nephews. 

Theodore was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Nancy Lee Ditzenberger. Additionally deceased are four siblings; Phyllis Burton, Donald Ditzenberger, Dana Kelly, and Robert Ditzenberger. 

There will be no services. 

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
