He was born on June 3, 1947 In Pittsburgh, PA to Thomas E. Rogers, Sr. and Louise w. (Murphy)Rogers.

He was a 1965 graduate of Moniteau High School and he also attended Sligo Schools.
�
He formerly was in business with his mother, owning Rogers Mobil Home Park �Harrisville, PA, he also was a self-employed contractor who was involved in building alternative housing in the area, he also built Liberty Gate Storage Slippery Rock, PA.
�
He was a former member of the Grove City Optimist Club, an avid book reader, he liked making jewelry, he was a book writer, writing both fiction and historical background books, his writing included the Baby Grape series, he also traveled though out Europe and the Caribbean.
�
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Germany
�
Surviving is one son; Thomas Joseph "TJ"� Rogers; one sister, Mary Louise "Mary Lou"� Rogers-Grove City, PA and one nephew Michael D. Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his parents

There will be no public visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 19, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at the Church of the Epiphany 870 Liberty Street Ext. �Grove City, PA with the Rev. Geoffrey M. Wild officiating.
