Todd D. Miller, 52, of Center Street, Harrisville, died at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, at his residence. Born May 1, 1958, in Grove City, he was a son of the late Harlen E. and Patricia A. Kemp Miller. He was a 1978 graduate of Franklin High School. Mr. Miller was employed at George Junior Republic until he became ill in the summer of 2009. He worked at Airport Orbit Express, Midwest Transport Inc., R.A.M. Transit Lines, Ward Trucking and Grove City Bus Lines throughout his driving career. He attended the Barkeyville Church of God. Mr. Miller was a member of the Grove City Barbershop Chorus up until he became ill. He enjoyed yard work, tinkering, motorcycles, religious discussions, and family gatherings. Mr. Miller was in the U.S. Army Reserve 298th Medium truck petroleum unit out of Franklin from 1977 to 1983. He will be remembered by his unique sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh. He knew that God was taking him away to paradise for eternity. He was married to Julia "Julie" Coast Miller on July 26, 1996, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, William E. "Will" McBride and Jamie Greene of Fredonia, and Cody A. McBride and Amanda Veltum of Harrisville; a sister, Tammy McChesney and her husband James of Franklin; three brothers, Timothy E. Miller and his wife Donna of Mercer, Thomas K. Miller and his wife Etta of Grove City, and Ted J. Miller and his wife Cindy of Grove City; a sister-in-law, Susan Miller of Grove City; a mother-in-law, Sylvia Coast of Franklin; step-grandchildren, Hannah and Kaylee Greene; his former wife, Lucinda Rice Tarr; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and his wife's siblings and their families also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Douglas John Miller; and a brother, Terry Miller. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 North Main St., Harrisville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Barkeyville Church of God with the Rev. Dr. Robert J. Guy Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Barkeyville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Barkeyville Church of God for youth projects, or to a charity of one's choice in Todd's memory.
