Trevlyn A. Dodd

Trevlyn Armstrong Dodd, 80, of Franklin passed away at 1:40 P.M. Friday August 30, 2019 at The Caring Place.

Born in Franklin on December 1, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Donald "Army" and Genevieve "Gene" Smith Armstrong.

She was a 1957 graduate of Franklin High School. Trevelyn worked for a number of years as an LPN at Polk Center.

She is survived by her husband Dana W. Dodd Sr. who she married on November 5, 1960.

Also surviving is her son Dana W. Dodd Jr., a grandson, MacKenzie Dodd and her nephews and nieces; Brett Armstrong, Col., U.S. Army retired of Vienna, VA along with his wife, Rachel Armstrong PhD, Col. U.S. Army retired and their daughters, Sarah Ann Armstrong Cpt. Signal Corps, U.S. Army, Anna Genevieve Armstrong at Texas A&M and Scott Armstrong of Marietta, OH.

She is also survived by many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Haven E. Armstrong, Master Sgt. U.S. Army, retired.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff - Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St where a private family service will be held with Rev. Jonathan Bell pastor of the Franklin Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be at Dempseytown Lutheran Cemetery.
