He was born on March 1, 1926 in Grove City, PA to William C. Raymer and Sara E. (Schweigert) Raymer Osborne
He was a graduate of Grove City High School� Grove City, PA
He was employed at the former Cooper-Bessemer Company Grove City, PA as a Diesel Engineer and had over 41 years of service. He also drove school bus for over 38 years and 20 years driving coach bus, both with Grove City Bus Lines. He also was a commercial pilot and owned his own planes.
He was a member of Tower Presbyterian Church� Grove City, PA
He was a member of the VFW Post #519 and American Legion Post # 220 both of Grove City, PA
He was U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII
He was married on July 30, 1965 to Joanne M. (Hood) Raymer. She died on April 11, 2012.
Surviving are five children, William C. Raymer and his wife Judy-Denver, Co, Terry Raymer and his wife Carol-Fullerton, CA, Robert Raymer and his wife Jenny-Borneo, Malaysia, Barbara A. Ferry-Phoenix, Arizona, William R. Bonzer and his wife Beatrice-Grove City, PA, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren and one Sister:� Susan Stamm and her husband Wayne-Grove City, PA
He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-father Arthur J. "Red"� Osborne, his wife, A daughter Linda Wolhart, and 3 sisters Velma McCarl, Sandra Stamm and Dorothy Royer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 10, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at Jamison Funeral Home 117 N. Main St.� Harrisville, PA and from 10:00 A.M. until time of service Wednesday.
A Funeral Service will be held for Bill and Joanne at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 11, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Janice E. Good, of Tower Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be at Harkleroad Cemetery� Armstrong County
